Overview

Dye Splicer is a paid game made by Taykes Limited. It contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We do not collect, store or share any personal information about you through the game.

What information we collect, use, and why

To provide the game:

No information is collected.

For advertising:

Dye Splicer contains no advertising, so no information is collected for this purpose.

For analytics:

We do not use any third-party analytics, so no information is collected for this purpose.

Purchases and your device

Dye Splicer is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you buy or download the game, your purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies (Apple / Google) — we never see your payment details.

Any game progress and settings are stored on your own device (and, if you enable it, in your personal cloud account through Apple or Google, which is controlled by you). We have no access to that data.

Lawful bases and data protection rights

Under UK data protection law, we must have a “lawful basis” for collecting and using your personal information. Because Dye Splicer does not collect personal information, we do not rely on any lawful basis for processing it. You can find out more about lawful bases and your data protection rights on the ICO’s website.

Your data protection rights are set out in brief below. If in future we ever did hold any personal information about you, these rights would apply. You can find out more about these rights and the exemptions which may apply on the ICO’s website:

  • Your right of access — You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. There are some exemptions which mean you may not receive all the information you ask for.
  • Your right to rectification — You have the right to ask us to correct or delete personal information you think is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Your right to erasure — You have the right to ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Your right to restriction of processing — You have the right to ask us to limit how we can use your personal information.
  • Your right to object to processing — You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
  • Your right to data portability — You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you.
  • Your right to withdraw consent — When we use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.

To make a data protection rights request, please contact us using the contact details at the top of this privacy notice.

How long we keep information

As we do not collect any personal information, there is nothing for us to keep. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and explain how long we keep information and why.

Children

Dye Splicer is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
